Our CaptureMyStory service is flexible, with lots of great options. Everything we offer is high quality. Whether you want clear quality audio, professional video, nicely written information, digitised photos, or even a personal history website with a timeline of your life – we are here to help.
You might want short chapters or snippets from your life (the ones you think are important), or to tell the whole story in full-blown detail from the day you were born. But whatever you choose, it will reflect your voice, your personality. It will be unique to you.
It also doesn’t matter where you are in the world – we can do this in person, or via the internet.
Audio Interview
We’ll help you capture stories as told by you, in your words and your voice, so that people can hear you sharing your memories long into the future. We help make it easy by interviewing you. It’s like having a conversation with an historian or a journalist.
Interview
If you’d like to appear in a video, we have a number of options. Video interviews are shot in hiqh quality with the latest compact filming equipment, but are affordable. It’s as easy as sitting down and chatting about your life, and we do the rest.
Life Chapters
Is there something specific you’d rather focus on? We can work with you on specific “chapters” of your life. Each one is its own story. This can be audio, video, written or a combination of all of these. You can do as many or as few chapters as you wish, one at a time.
Digitise your photos and albums
Do you have a box of photos or many albums you’d like to share with your family and friends? We will help you organise, digitise and share these with whomever you wish. There are many options here.
Your own private website
Do you fancy your life story (or your story chapters) appearing on your own private website, to share with family and friends? No problem. We can produce this for you.
Memoirs: your life in words
We can also help you take the audio or video work we do with you, and any other information you can provide, and turn this into a short (or yes, long) memoir. This can be with or without photos, and can include audio and video.
Timeline
How about your life in a timeline – from birth to present day – with all the key events in your life identified, dated and explained? This can be with or without photos. This can be printed, or we put this online for and others to enjoy you if you wish.
Transfer formats
Do you have old VHS tapes, audio cassettes or CD’s with important information on them? Would you like them to be transferred so that you and others can watch them tomorrow? We can help.
A whole-family history resource
Would you like to start a digital repository for multiple family member stories, family history, a collection of photos and videos, and more – for safekeeping and for all to enjoy? Let’s talk.

We’re very good at this. Our promise to you is that the process of telling your story (and us capturing it) will be easy. Many people actually enjoy it. Only a small amount of preparation is required.
Do this with us as an individual, or together as a couple. We can help you and your partner tell your joint story – together – giving each other the right amount of space, so that both of your voices are heard.
Once we’ve helped you capture your story, there are plenty of options for delivery and safekeeping. You can have it on a USB stick, a hard drive, via email or dropbox, and we can even build a website for you, or help you create a book. It’s up to you how you share it. Or maybe you will just file it away in your photo box as a surprise.
