Mark Sinclair
Founder of yBC.tv (and CaptureMyStory)
The team is led by Mark Sinclair, who is based out of Wānaka, New Zealand, but works with clients around the world. Mark is the CEO and founder of yBC.tv, a New Zealand based media company with a global client base. yBC has been operating for 20 years, helping brands tell their stories.
Mark’s experience includes:
- Hundreds of interviews over the last 20 years, including Sir Richard Branson, Jo Mallone, Tā Tipene O’Regan, and dozens of Olympians, sports stars and celebrities.
- Leading production of very high quality editorial (video, audio and written material) for large organisations in the UK, Europe, Asia and Australasia.
- Project Lead for the Cardrona Heritage Trail project, for the Cardrona Valley community near Wānaka, New Zealand (launched 2023).
- Project Lead for the Wānaka Airport history project (phase 2 currently underway).
- Editor-in-chief of yBC.tv for 20 years, and ongoing.
- Editor/interviewer/producer of yBC’s weekly podcast “Extraordinary”.
Mark was a member of the Chartered Institute of Journalists in the UK, before moving back to New Zealand. Today he continues to work with clients around the world.
The team working on CaptureMyStory is small but nimble – specialists who Mark pulls in for specific projects, including those who focus on interviewing and journalism, research, video production, sound editing, writing and website development. We also have access to a team of writers.
Our team is geographically dispersed. We can work with you anywhere in the world, even if you can’t get to us, as long as you have access to a computer and the internet. Even video interviews can be done at a distance – in fact most of the corporate video work yBC.tv does is done remotely.
